Dont Relieve B4 Question

Dont Relieve B4 Question

Postby billg012260 » Wed Jun 30, 2010 10:25 am

I have been away for the game for awhile and came back to find all of these changes. If you set a "Dont relieve B4" preference for a pitcher does that mean that HAL won't take him out before he reaches that fatigue level even if he's getting massively knocked around?

If so, wouldnt it best to just leave that blank? :?

Thx

I have found that he will keep him in until then. I put my best pitchers at F3 or less. I also leave my other starting pitchers at no setting. It depends on how good your middle relief is as how much to want to use your set up and closer. Thier is a new "Super Reliever" setting as you can have one reliever set for most of the relief settings and he could pitch up to 150 to 200 innings in a season if you have a guy you want in thier all the time.

That depends

I think it depends alot on your staff. If a $7M pitcher gives up 6 runs in the first, I'd rather leave him in than put in a $1M R1 that is set to mopup.
