DO,

you changed your bid in 2 minutes, I am fine with that, I just wanted to clarify the rules, which seems to be that bid changes are OK until the bidding is over on someone.

I will be out of town today through Sunday. I will only have internet access at nights around 8 PM EST. I believe I am current on the bidding as of now. I will try to keep things moving.

Thanks!

2 new hitters- Jackie Robinson and Billy Williams

Postby DHowser » Thu Jul 01, 2010 10:27 am

Robinson opens at 2.40
Williams opens at 0.69

I'm down to 2 hitter spots left, so does this mean that I have to pass on all others?

Yes and no. You cannot bid on any others, however you could hold off bidding (if time allows) while waiting to close these players. That way if one of these players goes to someone else, you can then bid.

calling Drysdale early

Gorshar pointed out to me that his bid was high enough that only Palanion could outbid him, and he did not.

Bids
litangel 1.51
Joekendall 1.72
Palanion 2.11

Gorshar 4.20![/b:5571b93f49]

Glad somebody got the joke!

Seriously though, it's money to burn at this point in the auction... so I might as well burn it with style.

So claiming Drysdale from my quiet Humboldt County retreat... (but Mendocino is nice, too.... )

Next up:
John Donaldson - 0.67
