What is the purpose of waivers for this league? If we can't pick up guys that weren't taken in the autodraft (except for guys carded to our franchise in the db- and pre- eras), then why bother having waivers? Am I missing something??

Is there a chance we can change that then and allow for pickups during waivers of un-autodrafted players who played for your franchise?? Depending on when we finish with this, I don't know what everyone's availability will be like for this holiday weekend. I'm not sure I'd consistently be around for a waiver wire over the weekend or even early next week. The waivers process would at least let me make some claims.

The way it's currently set up, the "frenzy" period is just moved to a different time and day, while the waivers serve no purpose.

Dave... there is NO CHANCE that we are going to be doing waivers this weekend.

It's 530 on Thursday and we don't even have the franchises drafted yet... let alone 5 rounds of players. We'll be lucky if we are loaded by Wednesday.

If atleast 8 managers want to allow for pickups during waivers, thats fine with me. If anyone strongly objects due to the rules having been previously stated, then it will remain as is.
