What order would u place these three guys in vs RHP? i have been mixing it up. Usually ichiro in the 3 hole craw 2nd and schu leadoff.

w/o looking at the cards, i try to lead off with best base stealer and base runner. but if one of the players has more dp chances on his card, i'll lead off with him. especially if the dp chances are in the 6-8 spot.

Disregarding all other factors, here's what I would do:

1 - Crawford
2 - Schumaker
3 - Ichiro

I look at the same things with the dp chances.they are all lowwww in dp chances...for some reason Schumaker does way better in the leadoff spot...I saw this in my previous team (lost gm 7 world series) with schumaker ...for example last night again i went with the lineup suggested (craw schu ichiro) but again it failed...One thing i would add is i love a great (a) bunter in the two spot, with obp...So, neither is bunting because schu and crawf are bad bunters...Ichiro is hit n runnin often but i have that high on this team. Thanks guys--theo

Agree with Jeep's order...

Crawford
Schu
Ichiro

Schu's a W vs Righties, and can't steal, so I think you have to put him at number 2 (and as you said, low DP chances).

I prefer the Ichiro at 3 and Crawford at 1 placements mainly due to most of Ichiro's On Base chances being made up of hits as compared to Crawford:

Ichiro Hit chances v Righties - 45.8 (46.8 OBP)
Craw Hit chances v Righties - 32.7 (43.7 OBP)

Neither's a stud in the HR dept, but Craw does hold a slight advantage, if you wanted to argue a flip flop of those 2 though.

What about Craw 1, Ichiro 2...and then some other players 3-5 before getting back to Schu at 6? Do you have any sluggers to slip in the 3-5 slots?

without looking at the cards...

doesn't Crawford out slug Ichiro?

if so I'd bat Crawford in the 3 hole

Crawford may outslug Ichiro, but Ichiro is a much better fit for the three hole. I have used Crawford a lot and he is really not even good enough to bat lead off IMO. More like seventh where he may drive in some runs and can steal without ruining it for the Big Guys. Crawford s/b on the All "overrated" team, as he doesn't have the OBP for a top of the order guy, doesn't slug enough to drive in say 80+ runs and he needs a platoon. The other "1" LF(Span?) is a much better player(card-wise) and can play CF. Cut(Trade) Crawford, grab Gwynn & Johnson and grab a real #3 hitter.
