No, you don't Sarge. You can if you want to - by dropping an additional player.

But you don't have to do anything with Freese until next spring.

Sykes - you don't have enough roster spots to drop 3 players, promote 3 players and also participate in the supplemental draft.

You'll need to do any of the following:

1) Leave as is and not participate in the supplemental
2) drop an additional player(s) - or any combination of drops/promotions/supp picks that leaves you at 40.
