I'm under the impression that we can draft 10 pitchers and 15 hitters, however...correct? Obviously the autodraft will force you to go 11/14, but you can put a scrub there as your 25th and pick up your drafted player after the league loads.

Didn't mean to skip Key this last at night. Was trying to add proxy and it drafted instead of proxy.

I would think this is NOT correct. The whole point of drafting 25 players is having a full 25 man autodraft ready squad. If you want to drop someone you drafted after waivers then no problem.

I'm quite sure you need to draft 11 pitchers and 14 hitters. Big can correct me if I wrong.

Doesn't seem like it should matter...you can draft your 25-man team, just can't load them all the first time. I have never carried a roster of 11/14...in the end, what's the point in forcing people to draft a pitcher they're going to drop anyways?

I agree with Jeep...I thought the whole point of the 25 man draft was for an entire (legal) draftcard to be put together - 11 pitchers, 14 hitters - and then if you wanna change things up after the draft, you can.

Commish?

Gotta agree with Jeep and Keyzick on this also Schnoogens. You should live draft the 25 players you'll list on your draft card. Need to worry about fine tuning after the draft. But yeah, BigM is the "commish" for this league, so we should leave the final word up to him.

This brings up a question: Since we should all get the 25 players we list on our draft card, that will mean that the waiver order will be determined randomly by HAL right? Doesn't seem fair to whomever gets pegged at the bottom of the waiver list. Any ideas on how to handle this. I believe that when using the live draft feature on the TSN site, waiver selection is in reverse order of the draft selection (the manager with the #1 pick in the live draft gets the #12 pick in waivers while the manager with the #12 pick in the draft gets the #1 pick in waivers). I don't think we can manipulate the draft to replicate this though.

Oh...and sorry about my pick last night. Had a power outage here in CT, due to some ferocious T-storms. No power from about 6:30pm to 2:30am...wasn't too bad, except for having no A/C... :(

I agree with the drafting a legal team.

Is waiver order that big of a deal since we're drafting 25?

Agree with Stoney on waiver order. The order will be of minimal importance after drafting our whole team.

OK... so Stoney and Jeep agree to go 11 and 12 in waivers!
