Greenberg vs. Mize

Greenberg vs. Mize

Postby artie4121 » Fri Aug 06, 2010 1:23 pm

In a league that is almost even between lefty/righty HR splits, is there a clear "better" choice? Your gut feelings?

Johnny Mize (8.93)
Hank Greenberg (8.98)

I've looked at all the diamond dope and wavy numbers, and Mize gives greater total bases and hits with his strong double and triples, and Hank has an edge in HRs. Slugging is very close (edge Hank) and Mize has better BA.

I am in an extreme pitcher's park, and my division has a slight edge for Mize in HR chances for lh hitting.

Gut reaction/experience?

Thank you,

Artie

It is best to post this question in the ATG forum.

I have used them both in Live Leagues. I would say Mize can be very good but Greenberg usually is very good. Definately Greenberg and his 58 HR's in a power park. I would give Mize the nod in a LH Park. However, the ATG Crazies will have a more informed opinion.
