"From the Black Sox to the Great Depression"
1919 through 1929
The player pool consists of only those players with cards dated 1919 to 1929.
ATG 5, bullpen v2
25-round live draft (on DiamondDope)
85M cap (league will be 100M, must always have 15M in bank)
adv, 20%, frenzy
no-DH
multiple ballparks allowed - limited pool of parks (see below)

The player pool consists of 185 different position players with more than the required 24 catchers (2 per team).
Also, the pool has 122 different pitchers with more than the required 36 RP-only hurlers, and more than the required 60 SP.
The 85M cap is based on the average player price in the pool filling all 180 roster spots.
With the very small player pool, this will be a great way to use players you've never used, and probably even start some you would never consider starting otherwise.

Live draft will be serpentine, ordered by 3rd-party randomizer.
Frenzy after draft---With 10 pitchers per team (120 total) and 15 position players per team (180 total), only 7 players will be in the free agent pool; they are fair game for whoever wants them.

Divisional alignment will be 1,4,7,10 - 2,5,8,11 - 3,6,9,12 of the draft order.

Is it 85M or 90M? Your post is conflicted.

Sorry... it's 85M. I had been spending WAY too much time trying to make sure that the 85M cap really worked, and had come up with some data that disputed it. Then I dug a little deeper and reached data that again supports 85M.

Sure, please. I am swamped at work (and really should be doing some of it) :D

And Adrian can't get a pool ready for us, by the way. I heard back from him that if he had a couple weeks of time, he could... I told him "no worries."

The only person who still has not received the Excel file is hack wilson.

It was a tough decision; I wanted Hornsby but I am not surprised he went #1. Ruth is hard to pass up, but there are too few 1-range CF in this set.

that was a surprise!! i would not have passed up ruth. That is a gutsy move. perhaps that is why my winning pct is WAY below .500 haha
