I was wondering if we should have our live draft players listed first, otherwise some could be inadvertently picked up when someone misses on an AD pick (although it could be fixed later). If you put them at the bottom of the AD card, you'd have an advantage in the AD for other players you need (which would be nice), but your live draft players could end up temporarily elsewhere. What would be the suggested approach on this?

Delbird, it is my understanding that HAL will not sub in a player if that player is on anyone else's draft card. Another words, if someone has Pujols on the bottom of their draft card, HAL would never give Pujols to someone else unless someone else cheats and puts Pujols further up their draft cards. Since this is a friendly happy league, that won't happen....on purpose. :D

I agree with Kev.

I am in a keeper league, and we simply list the players we are keeping LAST.

Unless someone screws the pooch and inadvertently lists a protected player higher, it will pan out exactly as Kev says.

My bigger question is: How do we guarantee that we wind up in the correct division?

Once I choose my team, I will go to the "Choose League" option and pick AeroDave. . . But if I go first, I will be the first team in the Eastern Division. I would have to go 4th, 5th or 6th to wind up in the Central Division, where I belong.

Dave have some magic method to this that we/I don't know about?

Anyone have a clue?

We wait until the East division managers enter their teams, before we enter the league. The last person loading in the East (hopefully tonight, soon) will announce here that the East is full and that the Central can begin loading. Then we load up our teams. After we finish, the last one of us will announce it and the West division teams can enter.

Sometimes, this can take a while too. :(
But it generally works out well. :)
