8 round live draft on the boards? I'm good with that. :D

With the exception that I will be out of town with no internet from Thursday-Sunday of Labor Day weekend. I will be in Fargo, ND trying to find some cooler weather.[/quote:8e6dd89ab0]

Randy, I didn't realize you would be right up the highway from Minneapolis. Just a few short hours, you could be in icy cool Twin Cities playing the board game version of Strato with your old buddy Kev. 8-)
I guess I should ask the obvious question that everyone wants to know.............why Fargo?

This reminds me, Kev - we've got to head to Target Field sometime! I live in Richfield.

I am going to be at the Minneapolis airport for about an hour coming and going. I wish I had time to stop and say hello but you and Diane will likely be out being Forrest Gump somewhere running and running and running. LOL

Schnoogens, Target Field tickets are hard to come by these days. In the Metrodome, both my wife and I could get tickets from major suppliers we work with. However, with the stadium selling out every game, they have been very tight with their tickets. I think people higher up in my company are snatching them.
I would love to get a 4-pack and invite my online buddies in the Twin Cities to go. Maybe one day.....

I've got a few connections that come in handy...I went to the Tues, Wed, and Sunday games this week. Tickets are available at cost if you find the right people. :D

I get all my MLB tickets thru Stubhub now. Yes you pay more, but great seats, no worries about having to get them way in advance, etc.

Jeep, the Twins were playing the Royals at the end July at home for a 3-game weekend. Both my wife and I ended up striking out with corporate tickets as they were so sought after.
So, on Wednesday before that weekend, I went out to the Twins site and Stubhub to see what I could find (even if I had to pay more). Stubhub had ZERO tickets for Friday and Saturday's game.....against the ROYALS. Not a one!

These were the only 3 home games in a 2+ week period as the Twins had two long road trips on both sides of the weekend. I imagine that may have contributed to the odd circumstances.

Yes Stubhub is a good resource, but I guess I found a time where they ran dry. But against the ROYALS? Really?

that's surprising. Got great Yankees and Mets tickets last year, even in the first year of their parks. Have also used Stubhub at other parks very successfully.

Randomizer run with the following results...

2
11
5
8
12
3
1
9
4
6
10
7

which means the draft order (for this non-existent league) is:

1. Frank M
2. zim13
3. Chasenally
4. nymets99
5. Brooklyn Mets
6. LMBombers
7. visick
8. toronto50
9. Schnoogens
10. durantjerry
11. ggrover15
12. splinter

If the game comes out today, we will move this thread to the ILC for the draft. We are looking at:

$100 million
5/10/20% drops
Any stadium
Advanced
DH
8 rounds (in the ILC section or using TSN draft site, if we can)

Any ?'s
