Why don't we just continue the draft here? We can always shorten the number of rounds if it gets too laborius.

The Diamond Dope site is important for this league because of the salary cap. It makes it much easier to keep track of the salary, using the dope. :roll:

With a draft that will take many weeks to finish we will have a few of us not be able to check in every few hours to see if it is their turn. If you can't check in and we have a three hour clock it could be a disaster if a pick or two gets jumped over. The solution is to get together and draft all or at least half in one night. Also we may have to re-set this draft again so the new guy does not need to use a different guys password. I like the idea of this league but I have already logged into Diamond Dope at least 50-60 times in the past few days checking to see if there is any progress. At that rate it may take hundreds of log ins just to complete the 25 rounds. Lets just pick a night during the week we can all get together.

I just sent Dacelo my password to Diamond Dope. He can draft under my name and then purchase the team on his own. Sorry not to have thought of this sooner. Good luck to everyone and have fun.

It killed me that we were having problems and I could not do anything about it, with everything going on with work and life. I had expected this to be smooth sailing...

Hopefully, we're good for the rest of this thing now <knocks on wood>

I'm bummed that Mr. Nolan had to bow out, he's a nice guy and loves the old theme. However, I'm very pleased to have dacelo jump on board; he's been in my long-running SBDL for a long time. Thanks for being the replacement player Jim (this of course means as a scab that you get no benefits from the players association ;) ).
