If we were to pick one season, I'd want 1994 without a doubt. It's a shame the Expos didn't get a chance to finish that season.

The 1998 Sosa card was the most exciting I ever saw. Homeruns, stolen bases, exciting defense (3e9, if my memory serves well), arm (-4), every roll of dice were bringing excitement.
Not as one-sided as McGwire. Although, what a card:

Pretty darn good, but a bit imbalanced. That is one insane card vrs lefties though.
The best card I've ever seen was Barry Bonds 04
