Thanks for the new 90's game. I noticed there is no Nolan Ryan. Ryan pitched for the Texas Rangers from 1989 to 1993 ( 5 years ). In three of those five years he lead the American league in strikeouts per nine innings and in least number of hits allowed per nine innings.

Same here. "same", as in, most players injuries all have the same result. Looks like Bernie doesnt want us using an injury to reveal which card you have. Has anyone else noticed this?

I don't see this as the case at all. I just checked several cards and they were all different.

Seems like a lot higher % of hbp injuries.

Of course, that is more realistic. Still not sure how someone earns a walk and gets a 15 game injury walking to first base.

I notice that it seems to be a mix. Several players have all the same injury, but there are a bunch who have all different as well.

I don't like the mystery card format either. I won't be playing in this league.

this is all fine. that is why there is both the single season and mystery formats, to each their own.

I love the mystery card format because it feels more like real baseball. You don't know what you are going to get, even from your big contract guys. It makes it more fun.

Personally, I loved ATG III when there was a smaller card set. I don't like the huge card set.

I'm in the camp of "Don't diss it til you try it". My first run at a Mystery Card game...I can see how it will hold my interest a bit more, but I can also see it being frustrating. More options for playing SOM is a good thing.
