Player Biographies

Postby ADRIANGABRIEL » Sat Sep 11, 2010 2:50 pm

After reading this piece on Eric Show, it occured to me that there's a ton of this stuff out there.

Would anyone else care to post every biographical sketch or obituary they run across for an ATG player?

My favorite player of all time: Roberto Clemente

Here's a link to a PBS special on him:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/films/clemente/

A shorter YouTube video, narrated by John Chancellor I believe:

Take 5 minutes and enjoy! I especially love the part that shows the video of him absolutely TORCHING the vaunted Baltimore staff in the '71 Series.
