having past the Oct 17 deadline, it looks like this league is now dead. So, unless someone joins up here in the next few hours, this league sign up will be disbanded.

It is a shame that Tom Shopay won't be getting a chance to show his worth.

I ran into an old friend at a Bar Mitzvah last weekend who was somewhat interested in this idea. I emailed him the link on Saturday but he has not gotten back to me/us yet. His screen name is Eppyshouse@aol.com if you want to try to Email him: his real name is Steve.

If you Email him separately perhaps he might say yes (I didn't tell him that he was going to be the 12th in a 12 man league so he doesn't know we are waiting and waiting for this theme).

Another idea is that one of the "no" people was because of the Halloween thing he was doing: as far as I can see, that obligation will be done in 2 weeks and it might be that long to get another idea to roost. Maybe if we put it off for 2 more weeks?.....
