Smokey Joe Wood was opened as a pitcher.

The winner will have access to both his pitching card and his cheaper outfield card.

This question was asked last season, and I believe the winner should be allowed to use either card once the season starts if he chooses. However, because he was drafted as a pitcher, the winner can only claim 9 other pitchers in the auction. (in other words if he wants to play the season with a 9 man pitching staff and use Wood as a 16th batter he may).

This may also become an issue with the ATG6 leagues IF that Babe Ruth pitcher card comes into play :wink:
