One Man's Trash League: nominations complete

Our historical single season sets

Postby franky35 » Wed Nov 03, 2010 1:44 pm

With 8 picks and a ton of 0.5 players to choose from, round 1 is the most difficult round. So, starting with Round 2, it is all downhill.

Thanks for your patience. And look at the beautiful list of terrible players on the nominated list. All those players are going to be on someone's roster! Hopefully, it will be fun to see what happens in a league made up of the worst players from 1969.

Finally, if anyone doesn't want to take the time to nominate, I can do my honest best to nominate bad players on their behalf.

a bad sign for my usual picking ability is seeing some guys eliminated I often choose to play

If Gordie continues to lag I may have to post Monday night. Unless one of the two guys behind me want to flop positions.

Maybe somebody can cut and paste the list of players at .50 that are still available for nomination? That may make it easier for these last few first round selectors.

Can we possibly allow for a time limit and skipping?

I'd like to hold off skipping anyone for now. I've pm'ed Gordie. Let's see if he'll respond, so we can get back on track here.

[quote:9c8985f547="GordieHowe"]This is so wierd. I'm working on my list. Who the hell picked such a labor-intensive format?[/quote:9c8985f547]

Gordie was apparently working on it then went AWOL. This is getting to be a drag.
