Rule Question

Postby HoustonMetFan » Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:50 pm

MUST I KEEP the 5-6 Yankees on my team? For can I trade them for non yankees. For the record I am OK with yankees who also palyed for the METS.

You have to maintain 5(90s 6) players with a CARDED Yankee season (not a player that played for the Yankees at some point in time and is NOT carded in the mystery card set of 5). You can make any trades you want, as long as when game time comes, you have the required number.

Paul, should we have rules that say 5 and only 5 (90s 6)? No hoarding???

You don't have to keep the Yankees you draft, but you always have to have at least the same number. The 70's and 80's teams will always have 5 Yankees, the 90's will have 6.

"with a CARDED Yankee season (not a player that played for the Yankees at some point in time and is NOT carded in the mystery card set of 5)"

Still a bit confused over what you mena by carded. For example is Reggie Jackson allowed? I would assume that he is becuase he played the one season for the yankees. But what if you find out that you don't have that season?

If one of the five seasons on a player's card is with the NYY he counts as a Yankee.
