One Man's Trash League: nominations complete

Our historical single season sets

Postby AllStarInc » Mon Nov 15, 2010 4:13 pm

Not to draw attention away from this league at all, but I just wanted to let everybody know about a league forming on the 70's, 80's 90's board that sounds pretty cool and only has 3 SPOTS LEFT!

New League Tourney - Yankee Lovers and Haters

It will span over three seasons, the 70's, then the 80's, then the 90's and has a part of the game that centers around the beloved/hated Yankees.

Please take a look. It's being run by two guys that are great SOM players, Paul Wooten and Rob Latorre.

Thanks!

Just a question...who is Carlos Cisco? There is no one named Cisco in the set that I can see? Is it Galen Cisco who used to pitch for the Mets (who I don't think was around in 69)
Just curious

Hi Sneeze,

Carlos Cisco is on the Washington Senators team in the 69 set.

Carlos pitched for the White Sox before the Senators. Was 4-14 in 1968 but had a 3.90 ERA which isn't THAT awful? Also had a 0.86 ERA in '67 in 41.2 innings.

Here are his career stats in case anybody is interested:

His name is actually Cisco Carlos - that may explain the problem finding him.

Thanks for the history Bill! Is Cisco one of your clients? And IF NOT WHY NOT! :)
