I thought it was A-Rod enjoying himself. I know a lot of folks find that offensive.

That woman is the world champion ugly face maker... found her through News of the Weird. 22 years in a row, she has won the contest of making a scrunched up ugly face while wearing a horse collar (not a tire). Makes her the ugliest woman (save A-Rod).

It seems that most of us are happy with what is going on. If there are folks with concerns, especially concerns that are strong enough that you might leave, please let us know what your concerns are, so we can address them or move on.

it's also possible that folks concerns were momentary and have blown over, it would be nice to know that too. i would just like to know where we are.

First, I believe Rick is doing a good job when it comes to judgment calls. If someone has a problem there, I believe it needs to be made known so we can discuss what the problem is as a group.

Second, I could do with less of the non-baseball pictures personally. It doesn't cause any problems overall. It is just a personal opinion. I am not mad or offended at anyone over them.

Last, I say, "Play Ball!"

I enjoy the these auction leagues more then any league I have ever been in. Partly because ot the great baseball pics and partly for the attractive women that sometimes find there way into the thread :oops: . But mostly because I am sharing a hobby with others that, though we all like to win, want to have fun doing it.

That’s a surprise.

First of all, Rick you’re doing a fantastic job. Having admin’d a couple of the earlier auctions I know what you’re dealing with. I have yet to see a single post/decision/comment/pontification/oration/summation that would/should/could cause any kind of controversy.

As for the photos... well, last I counted, and I needed both hands and a foot to do it, I found 12 people here. Well, I think it’s 12. Anyway, most of us have been doing this auction thing for awhile and are not strangers to each other. Not surprisingly as familiarity amongst us grows, so too will the nonsense, the humor, and whatever else we collectively come up with. I think we’ve reached a perfect balance. We get the job done and we have fun in the process. I see nothing that needs changing. As for the apparent objection directed towards Rick… my jaw drops with the proverbial WTF. How many people did I calculate were here? Really, if there is a problem with the actions of any one person here, this should not be dropped on Rick but taken directly to the person in question or better yet, stated publicly for all to see and address.

This old man is getting tired, after all it is now 9:45 p.m. and it would have been 10:45 two weeks ago, before someone decided to turn the clocks back.

Realize there are some bids out there which could be finalized soon, but good chance I will not get back on again until tomorrow.

Will get caught up then.
