During the interim here while folks load, anyone with thoughts on the actual 'steal' of the draft? I'll disagree with it being the Mets - I'll say the steal (potentially) was Czar at #20 with the SF Giants and a chance at Bonds, Williams, Butler, and a number of others. Any time you can have a chance at the best player in the set and get it at #20 = steal of the draft. If I thought I could afford him, I'd have gone for them at #19 and I could regret it....nice opportunity Czar.

I would have to agree with Delbird. Although when I tried to draft the Reds and they had already been taken that might be looked at as a steal.

I actually think that the Tigers with the last pick was a steal. Exclusive rights to Trammell, Whitaker, Travis Fryman and Tony Clark. Plus Cecil Fielder (as I already had the Yankees). I do agree that the Mets were a steal where they were picked.
