Question

Postby BigAlric » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:35 am

I am sure we already have adressed this issue, but I am too dumb or old to remember. We use the 80's cards for this upcoming season, right? What about players who have no card for this season, but in the 90's set?

We hold those players' rights thru the 1990 season AD. After the AD if they are not on our roster (unless somebody stole them from you in the AD) then they are free agents for anyone to use.

[LMB was talking about guys without 80's card at all]

Cards 80's

You can use them. It is really the same as if they do ot have a 85 card, but have a 88 card. If they have a 90's card they are GOOD through their last 90's season. It was the same for the transisition from 70's to 80's. Consider Kirk Gibson...last 80's card 88, last 90's card 94. He can play in 89 and then in the 90's through the 94 season

No players in this 1989 rookie draft have an 80's card so they are all our property until the 1990 AD draft runs.
