... and Dan, many managers actually have more time available on the weekends, rather than during their normal work days.

On the other hand, we're in no real hurry here, so let's hear some other opinions. Longer draft time frame on weekends? No clock on weekends? Or continue with the rules as originally drafted?

I believe I'm up at 6:23 EST but am going to wait a tad to see if MrBaseball selects. I will make a selection before 8:23 EST. Apologies to those waiting after me, but we're making good progress, so trying to be fair in the selection process. He just best not pick my player :? :D

The 2 hour time limit (always been 4 hours in leagues I've done) is more a pain than the weekdays/weekends, which during the holiday season (I'm in retail), is always touch and go. Luckily, I drew middle spot, but imagine someone picking 9th, figuring he has a good 3, maybe 4 hours before selecting again, only to find himself back on the clock cuz pick 10 picks immediately and then has proxies for picks 11 and 12, and again for picks 12 and 11, then himself. The guy with pick 9 could find himself back on the clock literally 5 minutes after his picks, though 6 picks away from his last selection.

We're averaging a little bit over 1 Round/day right now. 30+ rounds to go. So unless things pick up (and I have no problem with the current pace) we will be well into 2011 before finishing. I'm in favor of keeping the clock the way it is. Maybe turn the clock off over Christmas weekend. 23rd - 26th or so.
