I am currently participating in an offense-oriented league in ATG VI and it's been a lot of fun knowing you are not out of it if down 10-2 after 3 innings. Lots of 30+ run games. I wanted to see if there was interest in doing something similar with the 1969 set.
Rules:
1. 80M Cap (with cheap pitchers will be equivalent to a high cap league as far as hitters)
2. DH Yes
3. [b:a1577d9273]No pitchers greater than 2M salary[/b:a1577d9273]. Sonny Siebert is the highest priced pitcher available. Teams must carry 5 and only 5 pitchers capable of starting - all the rest are pure relievers (this is to assure all 12 teams get 5 of the exactly 60 available SP's below 2M in this set).
4. Draft will be randomized order and serpentine - on SOMDRAFT.COM - 24 rounds (23 players and a stadium - final two roster spots filled via autodraft).
5. Teams can carry any strat-legal roster (i.e can beef up to 28 players, or cut down to 24 after autodraft), as long as league rules are met.
6. Divisions will be East: Picks 1,4,7,10, Central: 2,5,8,11 and West: 3,6,9,12
7. Unique stadiums will also be by draft, to be taken any time, with the following 12 parks available:
Cleveland Stadium
Crosley Field
Dodger Stadium
Fenway Park
Fulton County Stadium
Jarry Park
Metropolitan Stadium
Shibe Park
Sicks Stadium
Tiger Stadium
Wrigley Field
Yankee Stadium
