Just a song? YountFan, this is poetry, driving indefatigably toward the profoundest aporia of our time.
You do not know how profoundly you have spoken. However, although Dr BJ Simpson is correct in praising your lyric sensibility, he errs in thinking of this sublimely dark expression in such late-neo-Nieztchean, pseudo-existentialist terms. That is soooooo yesterday.
Only a post-modern narratologist can reveal the true depths of this incisively divisive exemplum of cultural inquiry. Hats off to YountFan, the man who can deconstruct HAL, who can plead so eloquently for cosmic clemency from the deaf and blind Bernie as to be heard, and who can evoke the post-lapsarian despair of the helpless 80's junkie.
