Barnstormers 2010 Semifinals

The top 9 players in the standings will receive an automatic BYE into the finals. The next 3 places will be determined by the Semi-Final round.

This will be placers #10-#45 and will be LIVE DRAFT on Diamond Dope. It will also be played using the 100 Mil SALARY CAP and will be playing with ATG-6. That's right, 6. Barnstormers has always embraced the current game, so the semi-finals and finals will play with the players and stadiums from ATG-6.

In the Semi's and Finals, [b:fa63c53acc]you can choose the stadium of your choice[/b:fa63c53acc], (except you still have to draft it) so it doesn't matter that ATG6 may offer stadiums not available in the other events.

Once they are all known, the semi-finalists will be alphabetized and then a randomization request will be made on the main ATG forum. Once a NON-BS player spits out the random sequence, we will start to gather the players for the semi-final round.

[b:fa63c53acc]Standard 1/4/7/10 East - 2/5/8/11 Central - 3/6/9/12 West[/b:fa63c53acc] will be how the divisions are listed, based on the randomization.

[b:fa63c53acc]In order to advance out of the semi-final round and get one of those last 3 spots in the Finals, you must win your league's WORLD SERIES[/b:fa63c53acc].

Thanks, any questions ? Will have to wait a little longer to see who the next 36 will be to make the semi's, but we will try to look as far ahead as possible and eliminate those who can't make it and get the semi's going as soon as possible.

By my count, the WS for Event 6 won't be over until 12/20 - when will we be starting the draft? This is close to the holidays.

The last league in event #6 only has the below players who are actually using this for their standings (a regular event) - and this league still has 18 games to go.

If we can determine if any of these people are close enough BELOW the Top 45 where they could be affected by their final week, we will have to wait. If we can safely eliminate them or safely say they have a LOCK on the Top 45, then we could proceed.

Likely we will have to wait, but if anyone has time and wants to calculate those possibilities ?!?!?

I also need to ask Bernie to post the DROP LOW SEASON. I don't see them figured in yet.

And I requested over the weekend for Bernie to look at why the drops aren't showing up yet. But I vaguely recall something where he said it will after the WS is over for each league in Event #6. - Again, a waiting game which will probably push it back.

Bernie dropped in the [b:4cebe14163]DROP LOW[/b:4cebe14163] into the standings, so we should now have a better idea of where we stand. It is only figured in on those players who have actually finished all of their events.

Right now, this is two leagues in Event #6.
