Another PRE-CARD Draft?? - CHAT THREAD

Even if we don't play these teams for several more weeks......it would still be nice to finalize the draft over the next few days. Hopefully Ineluki took the weekend to rehab and catch up on things.

By my calculations, Ineluki (who I hope feels better soon)'s turn ended at 1:05 PM. Jerlins was on the clock until 5:05. Schnoogens will be on the clock until 9:05 AM tomorrow.

Since I live on the West coast, I'll probably pick around 11 ET, unless people think we should wait?

No. Don't wait. I'll be going on vacation for about 10 days starting Thursday afternoon, so I really hope we can get done before that time. With just 4 rounds to go, we should be able to. Let's go!!!

I picked up Jaso and realized I have two rookie catchers (Jaso and Posey). Anyone have any insight on how their defense will look when the cards come out? I haven't done my homework on their defensive abilities.

Can someone get a hold of Ineluki?

Posey should be around average, Jaso should be below average- according to his SB/CS maybe a +1 arm (4e5 +1 is a guess)

I finally looked at the SB/CS and Posey's numbers look good (picked off 37%) which is higher than average. Jaso is at 22% which means trouble. I think a -1 for Posey and a +2 for Jaso. We'll see.

In regards to Dave's comments about Range..I don't think my guys could be as bad as I think they are. My team was based on their hitting....so it could be interesting.

Dave, I had just created a similar list. It doesn't surprise me too much. However, I thought Span would be a "2" in CF. Grrr.

I'll probably have Morneau or Hart be DH and play Barton at 1B or Pence in RF to shore up my stellar defense.
Since Weeks was a standout at the plate this year, I thought they might give him credit for a breakout year and give him a 3 rating. At least McGehee isn't a 5 at 3B. 8-)

I'm hesitant to draft- leaving Ineluki in the dust. Can someone get a hold of him? I'll check a few keeper leagues, but we need to get a response.
