Just a quick note to wish you all a very happy Festivus, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, from me, and SportingNews.com!

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you for playing SOM Online. I hope you're enjoying playing our game as much as I enjoy bringing it to you.

I'm proud of what we've accomplished over the years, while I also know that there are plenty of areas where we can get better. I look forward to continuing our journey together through 2011!

Thought I would share my Christmas Strat poem

Twas the night before Christmas and all though the world of Strat,
All the owners were resting from inane pics and chat,
As they drifted off into wine induced sleep,
They had ridiculous dreams of getting great players cheap.
That they would awake in the morning and check the boards to see,
that Foxx had slipped to the 4th round, or they got Hornsby in auction for 3!
That someone offered them a trade of Cano for Drew
or that that Pujols had been rated at SS as a 2!
But when they awoke, their team was still lame,
But they grateful they still could have fun playing the game!
