Reasons beyond my control

Postby PotKettleBlack » Mon Dec 27, 2010 3:20 pm

I have naught by a dail up connection for the next 24+ hours.

I muct be considered a pass on all players who do not expire until 9 PM CST tomorrow.

I would ask to pass on nominating a replacement for Aparicio as I will not be online for more than 24 hours... I think it would roll to Miduar if we go by the opening order.

Sorry about this... Really, X-mas with the In-Laws is a lot like X-mas in the Congo, only we get St. Louis winter.

Regarding PKB's nomination

Postby hackra » Mon Dec 27, 2010 5:07 pm

Hey Max, I'm in St. Louis also!

If miduar wants to take another nominee, that is fine with me, but I also think we can wait until tomorrow night if miduar prefers to let PKB make the replacement nomination for Aparicio.

Current situation:

[b:72e472973e]Hitters:[/b:72e472973e]
we need a replacement for Luis Aparicio (from miduar if he wants, or tomorrow from PKB)
Earl"the catcher" Smith 0.50 ironwill1
Quincy Trouppe 0.75 hackra

[b:72e472973e]Pitchers:[/b:72e472973e]
Ed Reulbach 1.75 jet40
Danny Darwin 0.57 litangel

Carr and litangel still are automatic passes on all hitters (hitting roster full)
DOHowser is also an autopass on all hitters and pitchers nominated by someone else due to poverty

I would much prefer that we wait for the post-Aparicio selection from PKB.

Just to be clear, My understanding is we have not extended beyond 24 hours at this point. If anyone wants anything else around this holiday time, I suggest they directly ask for it.
I appreciate when folks do what PKB did, and let us know when they will be late.
