Is it a clue or is it HAL?

I’ve been playing the 70s game for a while now. And before I started the 70s Keepers League, I used to have a healthy winning percentage! :roll:

Yet, I am confused on something. My best two relievers are given some combination of set up and closer duties. I like my #3 reliever to be decent (mid-$2M range) and the last pure reliever to be cheap (750k - 1.1M). Sometimes, HAL just hates to use that third reliever, giving him few innings.

So, my question: Is this a clue that reliever has a bad year, or is it just HAL being…HAL?
