Trying to finalize my roster. Do I have too many higher priced players and not evenly balanced. Still have some to spend but not sure where to spend it exactly. Here is the link, feel free to make comments....Thanks again..

First off, before we get to your question...

1. Where are all the lefties in your staff?

2. The answer is simple...YES.

Your team is an injury or 2 or 3 from getting ugly real fast.

How many LH's in your division?
How many lefty bats on each team?
What other parks are in your division?

Let's start there...

Dale, in regards to pitching, I would dump Blackburn quickly. Dump Randy Johnson and pick up a pure SP at $.50M. That will give you about $1.5 Mil to pick another * pitcher. Basically, any other cheap * is better than Blackburn. In your ballpark, his ERA will be well over 6. I haven't seen him ever pitch well in any park.

I've had Ethier in other leagues. Even with his hefty price tag, you may want to platoon him with a 6L outfielder or better. You may have to downgrade a couple backup hitters to free up some salary to get a decent platoon guy like Kapler.

Good luck. Kev
