I apologize for this guys. I feel bad because I recruited Squid. He is a personal friend of mine who was one of the guys who introduced me to Strat in 1989. He plays on-line occasionally and said he wanted to get into a league. Unfortunately, he is having marital problems and said he wouldn't be able to do it. Qk - my wife actually asked who the "qksilver" was on my email, because I had so many messages from you - what with our recent trading sessions. I had to point out the David Silverberg line and explain it was Strat related. She gave me the roll of the eyes and I believe muttered something along the lines of "Dork" and "loser".
I've been lucky lately in that she has been going to bed around 8 PM because she is pregnant. I've had hours of strat time at night, but I know that won't last forever - actually about 7 more months :shock:

Yep, once she gives birth, your "free" time, will no longer exist. Congratulations though on the impending birth.
This is why I take a Strat sabbatical now every year, once football season starts. I got to tell you, my wife gets PISSED at the time I spend on the computer in February and March prepping for drafts and getting materials ready for the two leagues I run. I have definitly gotten the eye roll and the disgusted sigh more than once...

Yes, definitely got a lot of the eye rolls and staredowns from my lovely wife came when our 2nd came around and I was still obsessing over spreadsheets. Now, thank god, the little one is finally weaned (thank you WASABI ON THE BOOB - sh*t you not!) and she is so much more relaxed than before... :D
