Miduar: I anticipate another one shortly after we get done though after feedback may alter it somewhat......or a lot.

Yeah, it's something new and exciting, and a lot faster than the closed or open auction process. We might've done 10 players by now, if we were really swift on the closed auction. We've done 190. Not bad.

My bid sheet is in.

jamesgang77, send Mr. BBW a correction for your bid. Have him substitute someone else for Bagwell at the same bid. Saves redoing your sheet.

I don't think he has all the round 2 sheets yet, so there shouldn't be any problem making a correction.

Nine lists are in.

Once we get confirmation on the status of Bagwell and Wilson, I would assume if they are off the board your list can be revised jamesgang.

I believe we need to have a specific format that works for MBBW, and then we should submit our lists in that format.

My list is in with Leflore on it.

Ok will send a sub for Bagwell bid...i double checked and i also placed bids on Aaron and Mathews...will just sub for all 3 and as long as the bid price works ok i wont change the bid for 3 replacements just change the 3 names. Although i bid alot for the already taken Aaron :D

[quote:6132a6ba04="Mr. Baseball World"]Were there any disallowed bids? If not, I think we had 190 in the lists by position and 188 in the lists by manager, so either two are missing from the manager lists or maybe 2 were listed twice in the position lists. Of course the third option and odds on favorite is that I can't count.[/quote:6132a6ba04]

I think that the 2 mystery players are the 2 ties (if you are using the lists I put up on this thread). I did include Dihigo and Leflore on my bidding results lists.

jamesgang (or anyone else who knows they bid on an unavailable player)...I would suggest that you just revise and send a new list to Mr. BBW ...kinda like Frank suggested).

Cool. So we have 188!!!!

Formats you guys have used so far work for me. I am making good progress.

As I did last time, I will not question strategies as long as the bids are legal. By the way I agree with someone else that mantlefan came away with a pretty solid core in round 1.

[quote:41c9f214fc="gorshar"]......So that this is not all previous auctions but rather the first time we've tried *this* type of auction and all of its new challenges, I will go ahead and allow Frank Bailey to take Bagwell and ironwill can have Wilson.[/quote:41c9f214fc]

this was from the last comment by the commish on this subject.
