"keyzick" & co are correct focus on positive. Opening Day in [b:480dbccef7]NYC[/b:480dbccef7] Sat celebrating 50 yrs was extraordinary.

Ordered the just released, brand new version 16 CD & of course, gotta have the Ratings Guide in booklet form. Strato is the [b:480dbccef7]BEST![/b:480dbccef7] :!:

:D

Oh & the [b:480dbccef7]STAR Tour Tournaments [/b:480dbccef7]are awesome be it FTF rolling the dice & playing the board game or be it the Internet tourney, both are superb challenges featuring the best (players/managers) of the best.

Did you have the F (fatigue) settings set for your pitchers? I ask since they evidently override some other features like max innings (I believe).

Hey Hal, hey T S N fix the AI or just drop all the settings b/c they dont mean jack!

Hey Czar...if you can't say anything positive, don't say anything at all. It's more than likely that you've screwed something up on your own and has nothing to do with Hal.

You're obnoxious posts are a bore.

Orko I agree, I had never heard of that site & I figured I would peruse and see what it was all about. I couldn't make any sense of it either.

Why didn't he just post, "Hi, I work for Dynasty LG Baseball, and I am a shill."

His complaint is that "max 7 innings" doesn't work. Obviously, he has set the F-ratings to some number, overriding the max-innings rating.

Dynasty League and TSN SOM are apples and oranges. DL is great of you want to manage each at bat and play head to head with another manager, but I'm not really sold on the game engine and the site needs a lot of improvement. It does give you access to lots of seasons though. The site is still in its infancy. A game can take up to an hour if your opponent plays slowly, and the model for full seasons could take hundreds of hours of time commitment online to play. Even the 16 team single elim nightly tournaments are a 3 hour time wedge.

So I'm not considered a shill, I have almost 250 teams here at TSN, 6 active currently, and an SOM Fanatic at heart.

I laugh at folks that never played the board game version and then come in to whine about an online game engine.

All computer programs have code. Code requires things to happen in a specific order. When conditions are met, the proceed to additional steps. If no value is set, code says to default to "x".

Now that I've tried to dumb it down, don't whine about not knowing WTF you are doing. The OP should be buried or deleted.

Oh.. and BTW. Rules exist that look at PREVIOUS GAMES. Each game is not in a silo where the manager wakes up and says "Hey Mr. Wainwright. I could care less if you are throwing a no-hitter or if the bullpen got pissed away to hell last night. You're going 7 innings today, m'kay? Thanks. Great meeting."
