Guys, I had to rely on proxies in this draft which worked OK except it left me unable to draft 25 guys because of salary limits, so I drafted the cheaper Boggs instead of the higher price one I drafted on the Dope... just thought I'd let everyone know.

wouldn't think it would matter - if it did, everyone would just draft the cheapest card of a player - the player is yours and no one elses.

Don't think it matters and I frequently wind up taking a cheaper version of a player in the autodraft due to poor strategy or inability to add.

Since you can exchange the player post-draft without risk of losing him to a vulture, I don't see the problem.
