My goal all along has been to make the next round. Might have to set sights a little higher for this one. :lol:

Just curious - who won league's on the way to the Finals?

I won in the 2nd round - so so in 1 & 3.

I have an interesting path on how I got here....

Round 1 - team was not playing well at all. Made a couple of late season moves (i.e. dropping an underperforming Konerko) and had a little run at the end of the season to get to.... 76 wins and a failure to advance to Round 2. :cry: However, someone was a no-show for Round 2 and I was the first of 5 or so people with 76 wins to claim the spot of the no-show. :D

Round 2 - best record in the league. :D Lost in the semis to Cubs48 who is with us here for the final round. :(

Round 3 - came back from a 6-12 start where I appeared buried to win 88 games. Not enough for the playoffs as Cubs 48 (notice a recurring theme here?? :wink: ) edged me for the wild card.

Round 4 - just happy to be here!! :D :D

I've rode mediocrity to the finals. My first team one in Yankee Stadium won the division by four games with a 80-82 record. :shock:

My second team started 12-28, but made a huge comback and got the wild card with 84 wins :D

and the last team led all the way until the end and got passed by Kavik'sdad. :cry:

Three teams, two playoffs, but no credits--However, it is my first time in the finals for the jaserd tourney after three attempts. 8)

Now I have to quit screwing around and do my d---d taxes. :evil:

Interestingly, all 3 of my previous JaserD teams made the playoffs, so no sneaking by, but all 3 teams lost in the Semi's, so no championships.

And yes, '06 is keeping me busy, along with preparing my Fantasy teams.

Made the playoffs 2 out of 3 JaserD teams. Lost in Semi's both times. 3rd team was swept on final nite and missed the playoffs by 1 game. This has been a blast, along with the Tour.

Autoleagues are somewhat fun but making friends and playing in vet leagues is what keeps us coming back. Hope TSN realizes this and incorporates live/auction draft software immediately. Vet leagues and the tour will die without it and so goes Strato.

This is a fun group so let's have some fun. Weed Wackers4 is coming to your town to steal your women and drink your beer.

2 Finals....1 Championship (Rd 1) along with a 5th place finish in Rd 2.

For the record: I 'd like to say that yes, I know Schilling in Fenway with 2 Ameriquest's (6 total) is NOT a good idea, but I got him as a replacement and there hasn't been any starting pitching available since the AD that I could better myself. Let's hope those homers are mostly solo. :shock:

There is one team with $2M in cash and another with $3M in cash. I wonder if they forgot about this league. I am sure that I could put that money to good use if they wanted to give it up... :wink:
