uptown, you can drop and get approval, the sooner the better in case someone wants one and we all have equal access. otherwise a trade later in the draft, or fix after autodraft.

Thanks for patience

Thanks for your patience...I haven't had any time to put into studying the set. Will get some time to this evening, and will therefore be better about proxies in the future. Early rounds too important to rush however. Several meetings today have kept me from beingmore prompt. I haven't exceeded my allowed time on any picks however...we are on the three hour clock, right? Anyway, will be moot soon.

That was fun...

Strat being briefly down so I could not load player cards slowed me down a tad... proceed, Meat

Apparently not so briefly. It's still down as I write this.

I've turned my proxies off. I'd like to take a closer look at the cards before making choices like Jeremy Guthrie over Tim Lincecum.

That must be some traffic jam. Hope Meat is OK.

That said, time's up. Sarge may manually pick.

I dunno, Elko Al....if the card set for scouting is down, should the clock really continue? Especially when we're all so new at the cards?

I'm with Tom here. I'd prefer to hold the clock until Sporting News/SOM gets back on line (again).

well, Lo and behold, this thread was still up on my laptop when I got home. texted tom, but had no way of communicating, but yes, im kinda glad my proxies were off...i have three or four guys on it, but really want to research some positions and compare a few players, and obviously that's impossible.
also, anyone who wasn't already on this thread wont be able to access until the sight comes back, so all decisions should be on hold.

if sarge goes ahead and skips, I may be forced to make a pick just not to lose out on too many options, but not being able to see the cards pretty much destroys the point of having a live draft and strategizing.

and above and beyond all that...THESE SIGHT CRASHES ARE INEXCUSABLE! i Know no other sight I use, including game sights, that's goes down as often and for as long...and the others are FREE!
