No, it wasn't working for me either but now it's working [b:e5e850c799]VERY[/b:e5e850c799] slowly (takes forever to go to the next page).

I managed to get the site a couple hours ago ... only to have a POP-UP SURVEY appear. I haven't seen one in months, so I'll give odds that YET AGAIN a Java-based ad has put a Spaniard in the works.

BTW, if you ever have trouble changing your batting order, it is ALWAYS because the animated ads are preventing the site from loading quickly.

The Main Page for SPORTING NEWS loads about halfway, then the photograph of Jim Tressel tries to load and it can't. maybe Tressel is trying to kill the story.... :-)

Hi guys. I'm sorry about this. We're doing what we can to get the site back running smoothly.

The reason you haven't heard from me until now is I've been terribly and painfully sick all day with some sort of flu bug or something, and I've been literally unconscious all night and oblivious to the world. Of course that's NO excuse for site problems like this. I'm embarrassed.

As I said, we'll be working on fixing things, but at this point I do recommend that you don't wait up for us, and check back in the morning. I'm sorry.

No offense Bernie, but I really wish ESPN or Yahoo would buy this game from SN. I can't recall crashes of this magnitude on those sites, ever. This is an every-three month occurrence.

If it's server-related, then why do the old leagues load but the new ones don't? It must be the code, not the server. And again: the pop-up I saw today was the first one I've seen in months -- AND the last big outage was due to javascript.

And doesn't it suck for Bernie that this seems to be a one man show.....jeez, even Vt. has a lieutenant governor...........but I don't get the reference to the hispanics above - I'm thinking Moamar's to blame for this one.
