With the Righty Pitching 70-30% split, PLUS Hamilton's LH Side not THAT terrible, it's yet to be seen if he is overpriced.

I think, however, with his 5 injury, Moreau's card is ridiculously overpriced.

These observations are very interesting. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm going with manny at dh with Helton for backup dh when manny goes down. Loved Manny's card for 2.88 mil. Helton came at a cheap bargain at 1.53 .. Not bad production for 4.5 mil :D

With his 5 e23, his modified OPS drops from .841 to .374, basically in the same OPS range with fielding calculated in as (if you can believe it) Colin Curtis.

As a DH Vlad is a top of the draft card choice. In non DH leagues (which is how TSN priced him), he will kill you in the field. Remember errors in the corners are often extra bases, a range of 5 gets to nothing, so he is going to kill you over the course of a full season, no matter what his offensive numbers are.

That's why Andres Torres costs $5.5mil more. With the same OPS, his 1 e1 fielding is THAT much of a difference.

what about morneau at 8+ mil with that injury rating too.

seems like lots of overpriced position players this year.

what I don't get is pitchers. Looking purely at era and whip, some pitchers with good/decent whip and era are priced lower than I expected, like in the 2-3 mil range. I know there is more into the formula for pricing, but come on!

I really like: Podsednick 1.57, Figgins(Over 600 PA's vs the leftside, AA 1-17, A/B Bunting and H&R) Only .80. What a bargain cheapie. He can leadoff or hit 9th with a good bunt, H&R guy at leadoff.
