Guys - the order I put up just a few messages back is the draft order IF the "cumulative" in the rules means "all-time records." It isn't the official order - yet. If at all.
The draft order that Ray is using (quoted above & posted by WP the commish) is based on last year's total 2-season record. It's what's been on my roster updates and the like. I just noticed today that "cumulative" was in the rules, and to me cumulative is all-time. But I don't run things.
Since last year's combined record is what everyone assumed, I recommend we stay with it. This is generally how we do it in other leagues, and is just a simple word change to the rules.
Plus it would get rid of all the anxiety I just created!
We will set a deadline for drops a week after the 2010 game is available on TSN, which I believe is in February or March. Then we'll have a little while so KD can hopefully put together an updated pre-draft roster sheet. Once he's done, we'll start. I'll email everyone once the date is announced. Quick rules clarification, as it's been a year since we've had this draft: Let's say I have 30 players entering the draft, but then acquire an additional 5th rounder. Obviously, I can only draft 10 players, so my 10th rounder wouldn't happen. When does the pick disappear? Does it happen prior to the draft, or can I trade the 10th rounder first?

In the leagues I run the 10th round pick would disappear the moment you acquired the 5th round pick.
There are a number of ways to get around it - the easiest is to shop the 10th round pick for a 10th round pick the following year. Allows you to pick up the extra 5th rounder, and gives you a year to deal with it.
You may run into minor problems the following year as you will need to drop as many players as necessary to make that 10th round pick good. Which means if you have extra picks in rounds 1-9 you'll drop more than 10 players.
