I've had so few picks and the pace is so slow I don't even feel like I'm participating :cry:

I actually don't think this year's pool is "shallow" at all. There is quite a BIT young players to choose from (still are!) and a lot of potential vet rebounders. I wish I had more picks.

In fact I'm offering 3 mill + very tough vs LH hitter (esp. In a pitcher's park) Vincente Padilla for a pick. Something to think about in this next round or two.

I meant shallow in the terms of big ticket players who immediately help over multiple years.

But you're right about the prospects and the role-players/one-year wonders and rehabbing vets.

Lots of potential for great success - with potential being the key word

He might post decent numbers as a full time DH this year and can still help out at Catcher in a pinch this card season.

Gosh Darnit - I was going to take Niese with my pick this round - I drafted him and then traded him and when I saw he was dropped had my chance to get him back. I should have taken him with my last pick but I had no LF vs RH and Edmknds was all that was left. I thought I could take him late but when I saw him go in Round 6 of the USKL Draft I got nervous. And then when I saw Niese go I got nervous again. Good pick Palmtana. He's going to be very good this year. He was really on fire at the middle of last season before wearing down.

He's got a great spring going. We'll see how the season goes. I've been doing these pre-card/keeper drafts since mid-October. I Looked at my short list of SP's, saw Niese and said, "Hmmm, I don't have one of those yet." I love to trade so he may end up on your roster yet Sandy.
