Yes, JMC, I'm a lifelong Tribe fan myself but I think you're a little to hard on them. Sure, we traded Nettles, Chambliss, Tiant, and a host of others but we got some great talent back too: Charley Spikes, Rusty Torres, not to mention Fritz Peterson and Mike Keckich, AND, their wives. Terry Pluto's 'Our Tribe' brings back all the painful memories. So, for the remainder of this league do you want to be called Gabe Paul or Phil Seghi?

I remember more of Gabe Paul...I'll never forget the SI baseball for 87 preview listing the Indians as AL champs. Joe Carter (who when traded brought the Tribe some of their core pieces from the mid-90s teams) and Cory Snyder striking fear to AL pitchers everywhere
