got em both on one team, torres obviously needs a platoon, which is why, if I could only have one, Id take gardner.

That's tough because as he's meat points out, Torres would greatly benefit from a platoon partner. I don't like to play guys out of position, so I would avoid using Gardner in CF and just stick to having him in LF. If you can pick up Justin Maxwell to platoon with Torres, I'll take that combo.

I have a difficult time platooning high priced cards such as Torres. Something I need to get over. Keeping a player well over six million on the bench irks me. He is very weak when facing a lefty I agree...like I mentioned something I need to get over.

You don't have to platoon Torres, it would just be nice. I still have Torres grading out higher than Gardner even if you don't platoon Torres.

alot of it depends on the LH/RH starter breakdown in your league, and particular in division. If you are going to see 65% plus Righties, Torres is a given.
