The Senators have traded Mike Epstein, Casey Cox and Lee Maye to the Boston Red Sox for Carl Yastrzemski and Ray Culp.

i will keep the Pit since trades are being made. I have OF for sale. Clemente, Oliver, Stargell, taylor, One or more of them have to go. Make me an offer.

Commissioner Rulings:

Greg (ggrover) as the last one to sign up, can switch the Mets. It doesn't change divisions.

I will give paul (pwootten) veto over this if it changes his drafting/trading strategy.


Assuming the switch to Mets goes thru, regarding the McCovey trade: McCovey counts against the Padres draft-free agent money. The #3 overall draft pick counts against the Cubs draft-free agent money. Popovich doesn't change any free agent money. Likewise the Senators/Red Sox swap doesn't change any cap calculations.

We are off to the races.

Greg,

McCovey is the obvious #1 pick, and whether you have the Pirates or the Mets doesn't change that.

So, you still have the option to switch to the Mets. Please post one more message to confirm one way or the other.
