lets say you have a player that is the rights to a team that is not taken but is carded for your team is he then your player. Say 2 season with coloardo and 1 with your team since no one can take coloardo is he then your player?

My only question is what about players that are with different teams in different sets? Eck would be an example.

You don't get the player for all 3 deceades, you get the team.

Well I think I phrased my question badly. If I have a player who is on my 70s team and I trade him but do not have his rights in the 80s does he revert to the team that owns his right? Or does he stay with the team that acquired him in the trade? I would think it is the team that he is carded with in the 80s.....Wait....I just realized that I am a little slow. If we are playing all three seasons at the same time it won't matter. The realization here is for me to never ask questions before my 2nd cup of coffee. So trades are only good for the decade that you have the player's rights, if I understand it correctly.

See the post entitled "TRADES" on Mar 2011 08:09, last paragraph:

"As long as the trade is communicated here or in the specific league email system, and is confirmed by both managers, it is a binding trade. Once the seasons are running, you can use the regular trade function in the league."

We will keep track of the trades here on this thread until the season starts, then via regular trades in the league or in the email for that league.

CORRECT SIR!, a player could play for different franchises in different card sets. You only get him in the league he is franchised to in each card set.

The only common thread that ties the leagues together is that you get the same two franchises in each card set.

One players franchise status in one league has nothing to do with the other two leagues.
