I have to admit...it has a shady feeling to it....

I have seen first come first serve(signed up as #1 alt get #1 choice)....I have seen throw it into a pool and do a lottery....but this feels a bit like a snatch and grab

If I were a new guy coming into an established league I would feel disadvantaged as well....just from the simple fact that we all know each other and our personalities and habits(please dont ask about Franks) much less having a team choosen for me by those same people.

Shakey did come to TSN SOM and introduce himself in a properly impressive manner and expressed genuine interest in becoming a part of our community(which has been shrinking people!!) and sharing in the game we love...and in his first vet league he gets ***** slapped from the start?

Personally...in the name of sportsmanship and gentlemanly behavior....I would let the new guy have his choice

I gotta agree with Splinter. It's great that someone's reaching out trying to get as involved with SOM as we all are!

I see him posting as alternates to get into several leagues....let's get him started on the right foot.

Oh, and by the way, Let's go UConn!!

Someone could have given me a heads up. I'm active on a daily basis in several leagues on the league board, but haven't been on the general board due to time constraints and the belief that leagues like FRKL are conducted on the other board. I feel bad for not checking in, but, nobody could even PM me?
