OK, let's try to get a DD draft going. Here is the idea for this league:

1. 80M Cap
2. No DH
3. Standard Waivers
4. NO 10M+ hitters or pitchers can be taken
5. NO hitters or pitchers less than 1M can be taken
6. Trades and free agent acquisitions are fine within these rules, but no trades during the draft
7. Diamond Dope draft with 24 hour clock first round and two hours thereafter- randomized draft order via third party
8. Unique stadiums drafted anytime during 24 round draft (23 players and one stadium). Last two roster positions filled via draft card free agents.

This effectively shaves the top ten superstar pitchers and hitters out of the league and forces us to use more of the mid tier players to fill rosters. Let's see how teams fare without Reggie and WillieMac to terrorize the league.

I believe next person can pick, then missed pick can come in and pick any time. This first round will be an experiement, as I have participated in, bur never set up a DD draft. But I will say the one I did worked very well and I was impressed with the utility. Head and shoulders above somdraft.com.
