Sounds like fun. I was just wondering how you guys felt about having to keep a certain minimum number of players from your chosen team at all times? I'm in either way but with 100mil to work with and a draft and waivers and then free agents after that, the final teams might not look too much like the originals.

My idea is to start with the originals...use their salary...each team draft it's way (here on the boards...see draft format above) up to $100M with the free agents from the undrafted teams. Once this draft is done...we put our teams on the draft cards and the league runs like a normal TSN Strat league. You are the GM...you can do whatever you want.

There will be NO trading on this draft board. If you want to work on trades through the "back rooms" (PM's) be my guest. However...NO trades will take place on these boards. Your draft card will consist of whoever you draft here and the original rostered players (that you wish to keep) on your team. Once your draft card is set...and TSN runs our "draft"...it's open season just like any other SOM league.

After TSN runs our "draft" the only players that should be on your team will be from your original team's roster AND players that you drafted on this board ONLY. Trading will then be open, like normal, before and after the waiver period. So then the big Strat "what if" factor comes into play...the reason why we love this game so much. To see, with salary being equal, if you can take your team, along with some wheeling and dealing, or just extra players, and turn them into champions....

The bright sun, the ivied walls, the fans on the roofs across the street, the pitching collapse, the shoddy fielding, the lack of clutch hitting, the absence of any team speed...just another summer on the north side.

Excellent!! Halfway there!!

I looks like instead of grabbing those top teams we are all opting for our favorites. That should be more fun.

Well...the DH question is wrapped up...we have a 6 vote majority...no more need to vote on this...

I'm glad it turned out this way...a little more offense never hurt anybody...
