Welcome all to the 24th edition of the Fast 6!!! I want to thank all of you for particpating. Some of you have played in all 24 leagues and I'm flattered that this concept has remained so popular. I would like to announce now that in the next (25th round) of the Fast 6...there will be a special 25th anniversary grand prize to the winner! My way of saying thank you to one of the best group of managers playing this game! Sorry!

Something came up for this Friday night with Mort and he will not be able to come out and play. Crapgame has offered to take his spot so we are still covered. Everyone welcome Crapgame with a 12 ounce salute! :D

Hey Mike:

Got another draft (very early over on Diamond Dope ... no problem at all yet ...) where Mort's on the corner and he has not picked ...

That clock is off ... and this League doesn't open until 4/18 earliest ... draft will run thru weekend into next week ...

But will he be unable to pick here? If so, I will inform the group (Goldrush 24 ... you're not in that one) ...

Problem No. 1 -- Next weekend, I will know where to find Mort. This weekend, I have no clue.

Problem No. 2 -- What makes you think that my brother would do something just because I said it was a good idea?

Guys, I'm sorry, I let David know that I would be out of pocket tonight and will have to draft by text with him. I will be back in time to participate in the Frenzy, but I am not POSITIVE that I will be back in time to load my team, enabling us to start Monday.

I have tried to catch up with David today, but have not as of yet.

I have first pick, so I am taking Speaker. I will try to populate the rest of my roster with players who probably wont be drafted in our 6 Round Live Draft. I if get someone you drafted, I will send them to you immediately. If you would, also please make a mental note of who I draft with picks 2-6, and give me a chance to put them on my team in waivers, whoever they may be.

I'm sorry if this messes anyone up, and if the group doesnt want to do it this way, that's fine................

Mort is out of the "country," but has made his picks. Next weekend I'll be sipping Blatz at Coors Field with Frank & Crapgame.
