Any thoughts from anyone signed up so far on the part of the theme that will require us to all use Coors for our stadium choice? I know of others that have considered signing up that like the 2 or 2 1/2 themes but prefer unique stadiums like you would normally have - where you pick the stadium from one of your team choices. They specifically did not sign on due to the restriction. The sign up for this is dragging a bit and my thought is that the stadium restriction could be contributing to that. My first choice would be the traditional approach of the unique stadiums but I'm signed up as it currently stands with the Coors restriction....I just think it may be a factor in GM's signing up at this point. There already was a full Coors league that just finished filling in the past week and that took a while as well. My suggestion would be to offer thoughts on whether this part of theme can be reconsidered.

Stadium Issue

I would like to keep in theme of a hitting league if possible, but if you think more owners will sign up then I'd be willing to compromise on the Coor field issue. How about a list "hitter friendly" ballparks which we can choose from, or maybe each owner must pick the most "hitter friendly" ballpark among their 2 1/2 franchises?

I like the latter part of this idea. However, sign ups are probably slow because the rules were jumbled at first and now we are on Page 2 of the signups. Maybe we should start a new thread with the rules very clearly laid out with bullet or numbered points.

I think that would help a lot.

This sounds like a good suggestion to start it fresh, with those that are signed up on the list with their current picks and a clear bulleted list of rules.

So we are going with that owners must pick the most "hitter/slugging friendly" ballpark of their 2 1/2 franchises? I would define this as most overall chances for BP HRs? Hello all, I will start a new thread called Hometown 2 1/2 Team Theme League with our current list of owners & clealry defined rules.

END OF THREAD.
